Donations go to support all events during the Inspire Freedom Weekend, Storling Dance Theater's season including the Underground weekend, The Star Program (arts outreach to incarcerated and underserved youth), The Culture House Arts Scholarship Fund and The Culture House Lecture Series. We also appreciate our sponsors lending their name to the event to reflect how much of Kansas City is involved.
Inspire Freedom is an annual event in Kansas City celebrating Black History and American History with the focus on our shared heritage.
There are many ways to get involved as we seek to engage every corner of the city in attending events, building new relationships, networks and launching ideas that make Kansas City a city where every citizen thrives.
Every event of Inspire Freedom has a team of people who have a great time organizing, promoting, and creating a wonderful experience for all who attend. Each year the events get better and better because so many creative people lend their imagination, hospitality, and passion to Inspire Freedom!

Each Ticket Team member helps get the word out about Underground and form audience groups to enjoy the show. Ticket Team members enjoy two gatherings a year dedicated to inspire and serve them including a special lecture event and Ticket Team coffee reception. Lots of perks for this crowd!
